Well this week was very short for me.First of all, last Tuesday I 've taken a quiz .After that, I went to the bathroom but the teacher said "nobody can't leave".Actually, I just left because it was an emergency.Minutes later, teacher closed the door for this reason I din't assist to the class.
The next class the teacher explained us about ours lesson plans and she gave some instructions in order to do a recorder of a demostrative class using technology.
In conclusion, lesson planning with technology is a good idea and very useful in order to apply it in class because it help teacher like a tool to facilite the learning process.

Well, in this week the teacher explained us somethings about Lesson plan such as: definition, how use it, components, etc.Actually, this topic wans't something new for me because I almost have three years teaching Technical drawing to students .Nowadays, I'm teaching this subject in a school ovbiously I have to write lesson plans for every class.I liked the teacher's words said "There are different types of lesson planning and It means that each lesson plan has more o less components or parts than others".That is true because when I was studying at the Guayaquil high school I learned about lesson plan but it type had eight parts.Compariding with the lesson plan that the teacher explain us her lesson plan diidn't have this section "Observations".But her lesson plan just had sections about "In case there isn't electricity or whatever other problem" where it means that the teacher need to have a lesson plan B.
Another section is "Activities for special students".I think that this part is very important because in every school or high school there are students with difficulties in order to learn such as: emotional , physical or mental.When I was teaching at Leonardo Murialdo high school I had three deaf students.It was very difficult for me because in my lesson didn't mention anything about this cases.For this reason, I'm going to add this sections in my lesson plan because all students have righ on education even students with illness.
This week I learned to make good power
point presentations because many years before I though that
slides with a lot of effects , pictures, or colorful words is ok and
whatever people could understand better whatever explanation .But , I was wrong
. Firstly, teacher Wilma shown us a
Power Point Presentation (PPT) about teaching listening. Immediatelly,Teacher
Wilma explained the presentation was not well made,Most of us said why??.In my personal opinión I
though that that slide was good but the Teacher
said that it contained too many effects, lots of words
and some non-related graphics with the topic. She explained also that kind of
presentations don't show a professional work, because the exceed use of effects
and too many words could provoke tiredness .So, she gave us some suggestions :
·Do not have so many words, only keywords.
·Add some pictures in order to get the idea in a better way,
·Do not have a lot of effects in the words, only screens
·Check the rubric in order to understand about how to do the presentations in the best
possible way.
Thanks teacher, because your
example made me notice my mistakes and to correct them on time to be better .For
this reason, teacher gave us another chance in order to do ours power point
presentaion better. In conclusion, I will apply it from now on to put it on
practice for my students understand and getting the main points easier.

Also, I learned about the importance of teaching writing
using the book that teacher provided us (Teaching
English WorldWild),I learned some advice from that book that will really be
useful in the future with my students through putting on practice the
activities, the process step by step. It was a pair work, and in groups we had to explain about an
specific topic for example : Receptive Skills (Listening and Reading),Productive Skills (Speaking and
Writing).
Finally, I will try to explain my
students that they have to put their best effort when they do any work.
Well, in this week I have learned
from an amazing power point presentations shown by my teachers (Lic. Wilma
Suarez and Gabriela Lopez) about some web pages such as : EDMODO AND DELICIOUS ,.This web pages
are about how to teach, and how to
develop an interactive class .But ,the most important page for me was EDMODO because http://www.edmodo.com
was made for a clear and better
interaction between the teacher and the student in which can be used for teachers
in order to do online assignments like: puzles,
crosswords, etc .It has different activities
for teachers which I will use them in order to create my own asssignments
, homeworks into my lesson plans for
my students .

Another thing that I remembered it was that the teachers told us about how to use technology correctly and
being connected with others using social web pages for sharing and researching
information.Because, I
as teacher want that my students be able to be critical thinkers for their own
knowledge using the internet because it
contains beneficial web pages, where are
possible to find online practice to increase the principal four skills
(listening, writing, reading and speaking) .In addition, there are helpful
sites on the cyberspace to exchange information and share it with other
teachers; Delicious is one of them.But the most important is aware with technology and use it to be
better teachers. Fornutally ,children just know how to use a computer, and how to surf on
the net; but is important to explain them that Internet is a tool to search new
ways to learn, not only for entertainment or "make" friends on
Facebook, etc.Use technology in benefit of education.
