Web 2.0 is related to web
applications or tools that make easier to share information and collaborative
work on line around the world.
People who use Internet to interact and
collaborate to develop a virtual community, where every user is the owner of
her/his content, and make possible that everybody could be benefited by using
it.On the one hand, the advantages about Web 2.0 are:
-People can access to information easier and
faster wherever and whenever.
-The possibility to control access to
resources by authenticating users.
- Applications can be used for
different purposes, such as to make
animations, recording videos, blogs,
social networks, virtual platforms, wikis , etc.
On the other hand,the main disadvantage is :
- INTERNET connection is required,
In conclusión, as a future English teachers apply all these applications is very important in the learning
process because today students use technology more than before. For
them, it could be more interesting and new way in order to present homeworks or
assignments.
